Granite Retaining Wall

The granite used in this wall was supplied by Northeast Slate (802-645-9400, www.NortheastSlate.com) of West Pawlet, VT, and quarried in that region. The predominantly purple-gray stone is occasionally accented by pink, green, and blue strata, or layers. It is also the same stone used in the York (Maine) Public Library, the College of St. Rose (Albany, NY), and many other commercial and institutional settings in New York and New England.
