Union Presbyterian Church - Schenectady

A section of the limestone watertable had failed and another collapsed on the corner of this church. The structural integrity and aesthetic appeal was restored with Cathedral Stone Product’s JAHN restoration mortar. This product is specified by preservation architects on the nation’s most prized structures as well as historic homes, churches and other institutional buildings. Cathedral Stone requires contractors to undergo an extensive training and certification process. Only licensed installers can purchase and install this product. Olde Mohawk has two licensed JAHN installers ready to take on your next demanding project. A section of the bluestone foundation was replaced and roman bricks relayed in each area. A custom blend of high-lime mortar, tinted red, from US Heritage was used to repoint each area.
