Stockade Mansard Restoration

The mansard at the rear of this home in Schenectady's historic Stockade district was restored to its original glory. A collaborative effort with a talented homeowner, custom-made moldings replicated the deteriorated pieces that framed the slate roofing panels. On both the street- and back-sides of the mansard, the slate roofing was removed and completely replicated. Upper and lower soffits were rebuilt as well, in addition to major reconstruction of all four dormers.
