Lead Coated Copper Gutters

The old, fir gutters on the historic Herrick Estate (ca 1890) in Milton, Mass., had worn out their useful life.  Rotted gutters, soffits, fascia, and molding details were removed.  Repairs were made to framework and the cornice was replicated.  Instead of wood gutters, however, 20 oz/sq’ lead coated copper gutters were substituted.  Both chimneys were fully restored, re-flashed and repainted.  More work has been scheduled for this tremendous property.
