First Presbyterian Church - Albany
Forces of nature had caused an inner retaining wall constructed in the 1800's to topple over. While not rebuilt with bluestone, the church retained some historic authenticity by reusing the brownstone wall caps and massive stair treads. Because of the secluded, interior location of the wall, old material was moved out and the new in by good, old-fashioned man power. In the summer of 2008, Olde Mohawk returned to repoint masonry, repair copper flashings, and apply water repellent.
